We are private individuals who, in conjunction with the AMYA (American Model Yacht Association) are reaching out to both girls and boys at the high school level to encourage interscholastic model sailboat racing.  By starting a club in your school, you would be part of a movement to put radio-controlled sailboat racing in high schools all across the country: initially in a Club format and eventually as a Varsity Sport.

Radio controlled sailboat racing has been around internationality for over 50 years and, because of new technology in the development of model sailboats, is experiencing accelerated growth worldwide.

Our sport uses the same rule book as does the full size sailboat - "The Racing Rules of Sailing".  In that rule book is a section written specifically for radio-controlled model sailboat racing.

The American Model Yacht Association is an association of individual member founded in 1977 to be a source of information for everything related to model sailboat racing in the United States.  Currently there are 34 sanctioned boats listed on the AMYA site but here we will focus on just one of those sanctioned boats - the Micro Magic.

"Micromagic-US" is our "Go To" site that has just about everything you need to know about the Micro Magic Sailboat.
