Mark Retreiver.
When you are done racing, you will have to pull the marks back in. These two photos show what we use. The one on the left shows the spool without the line. We used a 1/2 inch PVC about 6" long on which 250 foot mason's line is wound. The right end shows a 1/2 bolt epoxied to the spool. The head is actually glued to a piece of wood with a nut securing it. The wood is then glued and screwed to the larger disc. The left end is open to allow a stick to go into so that the string can play out while the tug is taking the mark out onto the pond. See the video under the Tugster Mark Setting button. The actual retrieving is done with the drill motor.
